For the past 4 years Prismatic Ink Tattoo in Lebanon has been raising money for Compeer of Lebanon County and its veteran program, CompeerCorps, through a semicolon tattoo fundraiser. The fundraiser runs throughout April every year, and the latest fundraiser raised the biggest amount both Prismatic Ink and Compeer have ever seen for the event, more than double the previous two years’ amounts!
We at Compeer visited Prismatic Ink Tattoo on May 2, where owner and operator Lindsay Fulk presented us with a check for $1400 from this year’s semicolon fundraiser. We were completely humbled to accept the check, and we talked with Lindsay on the importance of CompeerCorps and why fundraisers like this do so much to make a positive impact on our organization as well as spread awareness on important issues such as mental health.
Thank you to Lindsay Fulk and to all of the people who donated their time and money to raise money for such a great cause! We are honored to have been chosen for the fundraiser for the past 4 years, and we will continue to do our best to improve the lives of those suffering from mental illness in the Central PA area through our programs building on friendship, community, and support!
