Diabetes Lunch & Learn

Learning about diabetes, its symptoms, and how to combat it/live with it is important for all people. Diabetes is very common in the United States, but unfortunately one out of every 4 persons with the disease does not know that they have it. Concern for diabetes increases especially during this holiday season, as sugar cookies, pies and cakes abound. Our second November social highlights how to eat well during the holidays to prevent diabetes & for people with diabetes. UPMC’s Heather Brown will be on hand to lead the discussion, and a light lunch will be served.
