On May 2 we enjoyed a fun night of bowling, friendship, and pizza! Compeer’s first social in May was a bowling night, held at the Palmyra Bowling Alley. Over 30 of our clients, volunteers, and staff attended, and we took up 6 lanes at the bowling alley! Though the event was set to start at 6 PM, we were all ready and raring to bowl by 5:30.
We enjoyed a fun night of bowling, friendship, and pizza!
We split everyone into 6 individual groups so that bowling could get started! We had bowlers of all kinds of experience, and though the competition was strong, everyone had fun overall. Our own program manager Julie even got into the bowling fun! Halfway through the games, our pizza arrived to reinvigorate everyone’s spirits and fill everyone’s stomachs. Kendra, Compeer’s executive director, made sure to split the pizzas evenly among the various groups.
One of our 6 bowling teams! Waiting for the strike! Compeer friends! Enjoying the pizza! Compeer staff member Julie joining in on the fun!
By 7:30 the last bowl was upon us! With the final game over, it was time to say goodbye to the bowling alley, and congratulations for another successful Compeer social! Thanks to the Palmyra Bowling Alley for having us, and to everyone who attended!
